Matching prompter speed to the format you're filming
A 30-second social clip and a 10-minute course lesson need different scroll speeds even with similar word counts, because the energy and pacing of delivery differ. Short-form content usually reads faster and punchier — push the speed slider up from the default of 50. Longer tutorials and lessons tend to land better slower, with room for pauses while you demonstrate something on screen.
Product demos and tutorials need different pacing than talking-head clips
When you're demoing software or a product, you're often talking while also clicking, pointing, or holding something — the prompter needs to be readable in short glances rather than continuous reading. A larger font size and a slower, steadier scroll work better here than for a straight talking-head video where you're reading more continuously.
Reusing the same script across formats
