Teleprompter for YouTubers

Record smoother videos with a fullscreen script reader that keeps you focused. Upload your doc, go fullscreen, and adjust the scroll to match your delivery.

Recording a 10-minute tutorial or a talking-head video? Mount your phone or webcam close to the screen, load your script, and set the scroll speed to match how fast you naturally talk when explaining something — most creators land between 30–50 for tutorial-style narration.

Full control

Change speed and font size while you record—without breaking flow.

Second monitor friendly

Put Easy Teleprompter on an external display and keep your camera view clean.

Document-first

Upload PDF and DOCX scripts directly—no manual copy/paste required.

Scripting for how people actually watch YouTube

YouTube scripts read differently than they're spoken — most creators write a rough outline rather than word-for-word dialogue, because reading verbatim tends to sound stiff on camera. Easy Teleprompter works well either way: paste a full script for anything scripted tightly (ad reads, sponsor segments, tutorials with exact steps), or paste a bulleted outline and speak more freely around each point while the prompter keeps you on track.

Where to put the prompter relative to your camera

If you're filming on a phone or a webcam clipped to a monitor, position the browser window as close to the lens as your setup allows — directly above or below it works better than off to the side. Fullscreen mode (the F key) removes browser chrome so there's nothing but your script on screen, which matters more than people expect once you're actually recording.

Recording longer videos without losing your place

For anything past a few minutes, larger text (48px by default, adjustable up to 96) and a slightly slower scroll speed make it easier to recover your spot if you glance away to check framing or audio levels. The elapsed-time and estimated-scroll-time readout in the prompter view also helps you gauge, mid-take, whether you're pacing faster or slower than planned.

Are my documents uploaded to a server?

No. Documents are processed locally in your browser whenever possible, helping keep your scripts private and secure.
